Which cities is Chale available in?
Chale is live in Prayagraj. It operates inside configured service areas, city by city. When you set a pickup, the app tells you immediately whether that point is inside a live service area — it does not quote a fare for a place it cannot serve.
How is my fare calculated?
On our servers, from the routed distance and duration for your trip and the pricing rules configured for your city and vehicle category. You see an itemised breakdown before you book, and the quote is re-checked at the moment you confirm.
Do I need to install an app?
No. The whole booking flow — map, fare, live trip and receipt — works in your browser. Rider and captain apps are built and in device testing, and will appear on the stores when they pass.
How do I pay?
Cash or your Chale wallet, chosen at the last moment before you confirm. You can top the wallet up from your account page.
Is an ambulance booking an emergency service?
Chale dispatches ambulances ahead of other requests and never surge-prices them, but it is a transport platform, not a medical service and not a replacement for 108. If a life is at risk, call 108 first.
