For drivers and captains

Drive with Chale

Your vehicle, your hours, and a platform that tells you what a trip pays before you accept it — and exactly what your verification still needs.

What you need

  • A valid driving licence for your vehicle class
  • The vehicle's registration certificate
  • An accepted identity proof
  • A mobile number you can receive a code on
  • A bank account for payouts

Why Chale

Built so you always know where you stand

Your own schedule

Go online when you want to work and offline when you do not. No shift to sign up for and no penalty for a day off.

Earnings you can check

Today’s earnings, completed trips, your acceptance rate and your rating are all on your console — not worked out somewhere you cannot see.

Commission that is a setting, not a surprise

The company commission is a configured rate applied on the server and recorded on each trip, so a completed ride shows exactly what was taken and why.

Verification that explains itself

Each document has a state you can see. If something is rejected you are told which document and what was wrong with it, and you can upload a new version.

Safety tools on the trip

The rider’s start code protects you as much as them: it proves you picked up the right person before the meter runs.

Payouts on a schedule

Completed trips build a settlement you can see, with its own statement — balance, what is due and what has already been paid.

What you can drive

Opportunities by vehicle

Which categories are open where you live is set by the operations team, city by city.

Bike

Two-wheeler, one pillion rider.

Auto

Three-wheeler, up to three seats.

Car

Hatchback, sedan or SUV.

Ambulance

Only where the vehicle and crew qualify.

Parcel

Bike courier or van deliveries.

Ambulance work is not open to every captain. The vehicle, its equipment and the crew have to meet the requirements for the category before an ambulance can be activated, and those requirements are checked in verification like any other document.

How it works

From enquiry to your first trip

  1. Sign up

Send your details and photos of your vehicle.

  2. Verify

Upload licence, RC and identity. A person reviews each one.

  3. Activate

Once every document passes, your vehicle is activated.

  4. Accept jobs

Go online and receive trip offers near you.

  5. Earn

Completed trips build your settlement and payout.

Questions

Before you sign up

What does signing up actually do?

It sends Chale a business enquiry with your contact details, your vehicle and four photos of it. It is not an account and it does not grant you anything — our team contacts you, and verification is a separate process with its own document review.

How long does verification take?

Every document is reviewed by a person, so it depends on the queue and on how clear your uploads are. What Chale does promise is that you can see the state of each document and will be told what was wrong with any that is rejected.

Do I need to own the vehicle?

No. You can drive a vehicle registered by a fleet owner. If you own vehicles as well as driving, choose "driver and owner" when you sign up.

How and when am I paid?

Completed trips accumulate into a settlement with its own statement showing what is due and what has been paid. The payout schedule is a setting the operations team configures, not a fixed promise this page can make for every city.

What happens if a document expires?

You are warned before it happens and asked to upload a new version. An expired licence, RC or insurance takes the vehicle out of service until it is replaced — that is deliberate, and it protects riders and you.

Ready to drive?

Send your details and vehicle photos. Our team will take it from there.
