Mission
Built for everyday India
Most journeys in an Indian city are short, ordinary and unglamorous: a shift start, a hospital visit, a parcel that has to reach a shop before it shuts. They are also where mobility apps usually let people down — an agreed price that changes, a driver nobody checked, a delivery with no record of who received it.
Chale is built so those things cannot happen quietly. The fare is calculated on our servers, not proposed by an app and not negotiated at the kerb. Captains reach a rider only after a person has reviewed their licence, registration and identity. Every trip snapshots its own route, price and commission, and that record is never recalculated with a later day's settings.
The server decides money
A client sends where you want to go. It never sends what it should cost. That is a rule in the architecture, not a policy somebody could change on a busy evening.
Nothing is a magic number
Commission, wallet limits, cancellation rules and service areas are settings an operator edits and the system records — not constants hidden in code.
