Licence, registration certificate and identity are reviewed by a person, and documents are re-checked when they expire.
Choose who drives
You can state a captain gender preference when you book. Chale matches it where an available captain fits, and tells you plainly when none does.

Which car categories can I book?
Hatchback, sedan and SUV are the categories Chale is seeded with. The booking screen shows the ones actually live in your city, each with its own fare for your route.
Is air conditioning included?
Chale does not price air conditioning separately, and does not promise it as a feature of a category — what a particular vehicle has depends on the vehicle. If the car you are given is not in an acceptable condition, report it from the trip.
Can I request a woman captain?
You can set a captain gender preference at booking. It is matched where an available captain fits; if none does, Chale tells you rather than quietly ignoring the preference.
Can I book a car for an outstation trip?
Not today. Each Chale city has its own routing graph and service area precisely so a trip cannot silently become an intercity journey. Both ends of your trip must sit inside the same service area.
