Driver help
Signing up, getting verified, going online and getting paid. For anything about a specific trip, use the driver console — it already knows which job you mean.
Common questions
Answers for captains
I sent the signup form. What happens next?
It reaches our team as a business enquiry. Somebody contacts you to confirm the categories open in your city. It is not an account, and it does not by itself start verification.
Where do I upload my documents?
In the driver portal at ops.chale.in. Each document has its own state you can see, and its own history of versions.
My document was rejected. Why?
The decision carries a recorded reason you can read in the portal. The most common causes are a blurred or cropped photograph, a document that has expired, and details that do not match the vehicle registered. Upload a new version of that document; the rest of your file is unaffected.
Why am I not receiving trip offers?
Check three things in the console: that you are online, that your vehicle is activated rather than pending verification, and that no document has expired. All three are shown on the dashboard, and any one of them will stop offers.
Where do I see what I have earned?
The earnings screen in the console shows today’s earnings and completed jobs, and the settlement statement shows the balance, what is due and what has already been paid.
How is commission calculated?
It is a configured rate applied on the server and recorded against each completed trip, so a finished ride shows exactly what was taken. It is not recalculated later with a different rate.
Not started yet?
Send your details and four photos of your vehicle, and our team will take it from there.
